Store #35: The 10 Day Turnaround


My team got the keys to store #35 on June 20th.

It was a loser store, closed down by the previous operator

We saw a huge opportunity

But not in the current condition

So we raced to remodel the store

  • completely new waiting room
  • painted the shop inside & out
  • new computers & security cameras

We were open for business by July 1st.

The waiting room was a disaster.

A massive counter was taking up half the space.

Old tile. No TVs. Felt like a morgue.

Why the insane rush?

July, August, & September are usually our best months of the year

The results:

  • Day 1: $114 😩
  • Week 1: $5,000 😑
  • Now $15-20k per week 🙂

We’ll be doing $25-30k soon 🤑

It’s always a little nerve-racking to start a new location from zero

The Big Unknown is how long it’ll take to start making money

Being a franchise helps a lot because we have a baseline of other locations
