I lived in the “whirlwind” for years.
My phone would ring 100+ times a day while I ran multiple stores, hired, fired, trained, and handled back-office and tech support.
But it was the only way I knew how to operate.
This all changed in 2020….
I can point to the 20+ shops I bought with seller financing or creating a "hiring machine" to consistently find A-Players
It’s easy to say the pandemic accelerated owners’ desire to sell.
Those are just strategies and tactics on the surface level.
Something much deeper caused this change.
I learned how to operate with intention vs. constantly reacting.
Here’s what it actually looks like:
1/ Zoom Out - I created a clear vision of what I wanted my business (and life) to look like: lots of freedom & money.
2/ The Gap - I identified the biggest gap between where I’m at today and where I want to go.
3/ Prioritize - I ranked all the stuff I’d have to do to close the gap. The first thing was freeing up my time so I could actually work on this list.
4/ Elimination - I stopped doing anything that didn’t move me forward: meetings I didn’t need to attend, Netflix, or video games. I started waking up at 5am (still do)
5/ Daily Action - I chipped away every day. Some days were small, like creating an interview checklist; other days were bigger, like negotiating my first seller-financed deal.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed, which creates analysis paralysis.
But you don’t have to move mountains. All it takes is 1% improvements.
It may feel like nothing in the moment until you take a step back to see what you’ve built.
Your Next Critical Move
So here’s the game plan:
Use this spreadsheet to help identify the “red” items in your business. The things you need to fix ASAP
Pick 1 or 2 of them that you commit to solving over the next 6 weeks
Decide the move, create the action plan, define success, and set a deadline.
Eliminate whatever you can to allocate more time and take action every day.
Once completed, post in Skool and tag me.

P.S. The hardest part is picking the right move and having a sounding board to help when you get stuck.
This is exactly what I help owners do inside 8-Figure Franchisee.
