If you’re going to set a goal...
It better be a goal worth hitting
— Brian Beers
Is it weird to quote yourself in your own newsletter?
People on YouTube already think I’m arrogant… so I guess it fits?
Back to our goal
Being a business owner is ridiculously hard.
You take on a ton of risk, wear lots of hats, and work your butt off to build something special.
Then once you finally start making some real money, do people throw you a big party to celebrate?
Do all your friends & family admit they were wrong for doubting you?
We all know the answer…
So if you’re going to torture yourself to build a business, the results better be worth it.
What’s a goal worth having?
Steal mine:
$100,000 PROFIT per month from a multi-unit business
Let’s break this down.
I’m talking about $100k of PROFIT per month, not revenue. I’m talking about money in your pocket after all the bills are paid. That’s the goal.
There are two things this does:
First is security. You no longer need to look at your bank balance every morning.
Problems that used to cost you a week of sleep don’t bother you anymore.
One bad quarter doesn’t put your house at risk.
Second is the nicer life:
- 5-star vacations
- The bigger house & new cars
- A private chef to cook all your meals
Since you’re a responsible person, you’d also be saving a ton of this cash and building a massive nest egg.
Eventually, your investment portfolio will generate enough “passive income” to pay for your lifestyle.
A multi-unit business
One of my shops lost $10,000 last month while another made $50,000.
They take the same effort to run. Each single location is a rollercoaster. There are highs and lows every month.
100% of your income rides along that single track.
Growing to 4 locations creates 4 separate tracks, each with its own highs & lows.
Company revenue becomes more stable because each location accounts for only 25% of the total.
At my size, 36 locations create 36 separate tracks, with each one accounting for just 2.7%.
The more locations you have, the less dependent you are on any single one to make or break you.
That defensibility gives you peace of mind.
The more locations, the bigger your team. You’ll have the budget to hire rock-star leaders who can run the operations.
This gives you freedom because you’re no longer the bottleneck.
A goal worth hitting
99% of businesses will never reach the goal I just laid out.
Yet there’s a proven path to get there.
I did it. At least a dozen of my friends have too.
It’s not rocket science.
You can do it too.
I’m sharing my entire playbook to help.
Everything I know to build a $100k/month multi-unit business.
It’s all gonna happen on my second (non-trolling) YouTube channel: More Brian Beers
Cheers!
