I just invested in a new company!

I’ve scaled my company revenue 10X from $5.5M/year to $55M over the last 6 years.

How did I grow so fast?

It comes down to one simple formula: time + cash = confidence.

Time is the most valuable resource we have, and it’s the hardest thing to defend as an owner.

Your whole day gets eaten by tiny tasks. Put out this fire, interview a candidate, answer emails, fix a payroll issue, renew the insurance, approve the marketing, & so on.

None of it makes you money or grows the business.

You should be spending your time on the things only you can do: recruiting A+ talent, landing big accounts & building your acquisition pipeline.

Back in 2020 I was buried in the small stuff, so I made a plan to dig out.

I started by writing down every task that ate my time and didn’t make money. Then I hired a global employee to take it all.

At first I didn’t think there was enough to fill a 40-hour week, but I knew talented people don’t take part-time jobs, so I hired her full-time anyway.

It was the best decision I could’ve made. Once she was on board, I saw how much more she could pull off my plate.

Within a month, I freed up 15 to 20 hours a week.

I invested that time into growth. I sharpened our sales process, marketing, and training.

Now I had time on my hands and more money in my pocket.

I had the confidence to grow again.

So I called a neighboring franchisee who owned 7 shops and asked about buying him out.

Just like that, my company went from 6 shops to 13, creating a whole new set of problems and strains on my time.

What did I do? Same playbook.

We hired more global talent to build out the back office. That freed up my time, which I put back into growth, which threw off more cash.

And the cycle ran again and again.

Today I’ve got 15+ global employees across admin, sales, operations, and marketing.

I'm not talking about $3/hour, barely speak English, data-entry virtual assistants.

I'm hiring highly educated, experienced professionals.

The hardest part is finding those needles in the haystack.

Which is exactly why I’m now a partner of Global Team, a recruiting firm that specializes in hiring the top 1% of talent from Latin America.

Global Team found some of my best people in a matter of days.

If you want to run the same play, Global Team will help you find your first great hire.
