How’s your month going?

Everyone’s talking about the economy.

Tariffs. Interest rates. Recession fears.

But I wanted to know what’s actually happening on Main Street.

So I surveyed 50 franchise owners inside of 8-Figure Franchisee.

Here’s what they told me:

I’m officially under contract for those additional territories. Without this group and its resources, I would not have thought it was possible.

Last month was a record month and I’m trying to beat it this month!

We’re up 10% YOY for the second consecutive year. We should finalize financing for our second store in the coming days.

Best month to date, but also ran into new problems. Brought in couple new people and typical cash flow problems you hear around that.

Revenue is a little under expectations but ok. Had a sales guy quit this morning so now more hats for me to wear.

We’re on track to 60-65k this month gross. Our cost is around 45k so we’re profitable!

We just finished construction on #2 and hope to open it sometime in June. I also just started construction on #3 and signed a lease for #4.

I am still working hard to build leads. Not where I’d like to be yet, but I’m hoping for better as we go along.

New manager started yesterday and seems like she is the right fit. Now it’s getting that store back to where it needs to be

Leads coming in strong, we are converting them to appointments at a solid rate. I’m on my 5th rep in 5 months so sales have been a struggle.

Sure, there are challenges.

Hiring, leads, sales, and financing.

Normal business problems.

But these aren’t “the economy is ending” problems.

Your customers still need your service.

Local demand doesn’t disappear because of headlines.

Good businesses with solid systems keep growing.

We officially launched Waterloo Houston yesterday, installing our first job. My business partner Rick is crushing it. In the last 30 days he's sold: $37k backyard that includes a putting green $25k sports field for an active NFL player $4.5k & $7.0k for standard yards But here’s the thing about high-ticket sales... Not everyone can do this. It requires someone who’s great at building trust with customers very quickly. Installing turf is a huge investment that completely transforms a space....

Our Midas shops just set a new monthly sales record. $4,168,431 across 34 locations in May. That’s 9% more customers and 11% higher sales than last year. But here’s what most franchise owners miss: The difference between a $100k location and a $150k location isn’t the zip code. It’s not the marketing budget or the economy. It’s the energy your team brings every single day. Think about it: Customer calls about a rattling noise. Your team could: Say we’re too busy to inspect it Do the bare...

I moderated a franchise conference panel earlier this month. We talked about how the best franchisors obsess over one thing Franchisee profitability Many franchisees are first-time business owners & invest their life savings into the business. They’ve never hired people before. They overstaff (bleeding cash) or understaff (restrict growth). They don’t know the difference between fixed and variable costs. Here’s a framework that actually works: Leverage Buying Power: Use your buying power to...
